Output of 'man aliases':
"...
The /etc/aliases file contains the required aliases for the sendmail
command. ..."

There is no any reason the file /etc/aliases to be related neither to
Informix Dynamic Server nor to TSM client and/or TDP for Informix !
Did someone misled by the name have put this file's name somewhere in any
configuration file(s) ?
$ONCONFIG file points to !Informix! server names/aliases. These are
translated to TCP/IP host/service pair using $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts
file. Host names are resolved by DNS or hosts table. Service is resolved to
port number through /etc/services file. No place to involve any mail daemon
or /etc/aliases file.

Check your *real* configuration files - onconfig, sqlhosts, services,
dsm.sys, dsm.opt, ...

Subject: Onbar maping with /etc/aliases.

Hi TSM'rs

We got a problem with /etc/aliases file, when we'r stying to start Onbar
from client
getting error "dbm map "Alias0" : unsafe map file /etc/aliases.

Checked and compared aliases file with other clients, everything looking
fine.

anybody can give solution for this.

we'r using TSM 3.7 level 2.0.

thanks in advance
Muthyam
