Hi there. On a particular NT Server connected via WAN (2 M/b) we are experiencing session lost errors since a couple of days. I cannot determine the cause of this problem. The network shows no unregularities and the NT-box has no load of any kind. The ADSM (v3.2.1.90) server shows no entries in the activity log conserning the NT-box in question. On the NT box no entries are made in the eventlog either. The ADSM Server shows the sessions of the "lost" backup sessions. At this side of the backup everything seems fine.
The errors occur on incremental backups on entire disks as wel as on a single directory and during incremental backups and archive sessions. The NT-box's OS has been recently reinstalled because of a corrupt netlogon cache. Other than that there are no historical problems. Is there any of you out there with knowledge of the errors extracted from the dsmerror.log. Any help is appreciated. 12/13/2001 10:55:45 TcpRead(): recv(): errno = 10054 12/13/2001 10:55:45 sessRecvVerb: Error -50 from call to 'readRtn'. 12/13/2001 10:55:45 ANS1809E Session is lost; initializing session reopen procedure. 12/13/2001 10:55:45 ANS1809E Session is lost; initializing session reopen procedure. 12/13/2001 10:55:56 ANS1810E ADSM session has been reestablished. 12/13/2001 10:57:18 TcpRead(): recv(): errno = 10054 12/13/2001 10:57:18 sessRecvVerb: Error -50 from call to 'readRtn'. 12/13/2001 10:57:18 ANS1809E Session is lost; initializing session reopen procedure. 12/13/2001 10:57:18 ANS1809E Session is lost; initializing session reopen procedure. 12/13/2001 10:57:28 ANS1810E ADSM session has been reestablished. 12/13/2001 10:58:51 TcpRead(): recv(): errno = 10054 12/13/2001 10:58:51 sessRecvVerb: Error -50 from call to 'readRtn'. 12/13/2001 10:58:51 ANS1809E Session is lost; initializing session reopen procedure. 12/13/2001 10:58:51 ANS1809E Session is lost; initializing session reopen procedure. 12/13/2001 10:59:01 ANS1810E ADSM session has been reestablished.
