Del, Thanks for this. We are still running version 1, for a variety of reasons.
The /ADSMAUTODELETE ran ok on 3 of the 5 exchange servers. The fourth returned an invalid command line parameter error and the fifth didn't like the ADSMQUERY command. It said the ADSM server identified the nodename as 'YOUR NODENAME' as opposed to UKCORMSX05_EXC. I'll have a look at these on Monday. I suspect configuration problems and/or a version of Exchange Connect Agent which doesn't support AUTODELETE. Thanks again. Phil, If you are still running TDP for Exchange version 1, you should be running version 1.1.1.01. You can obtain that here: ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/storage/tivoli-storage-management/patches/agents/ ntexch/1.1.1/ Yes, you run the /ADSMAUTODELETE from the command-line interface. Please note that TDP for Exchange Version 2.2.0 no longer uses /ADSMAUTODELETE since version 2.2.0 utilizes full policy management and your policy definitions handle the deletions for you.
