Dwight, thanks for your response. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to install anything on our TSM machine. It's a bundle of hard- and software called NSM (network storage manager). Our IBM hardware engineer installed ECA level 16. No newer level seemed to bee available. I will try the server option SELFTUNEBUFPOOLSIZE and hope to resolve the problem. Otherwise I will have to give IBM a call.
