Hi Christian, you have just to use the line "include.encryption *" in your dsm.opt file. This will choose all of your data to be encrypted before transfered to the TSM server. If you only want to use encryption on some specific data than you have to change * to whatever you like (d:\documents\...\*.doc). The TSM client will ask for the encryption key automatically. If you have choose the "save encryption key locally" option, the key will be stored in the registry. You cannot change the key for the backed up objects!!!! If you delete the key from the registry, you can choose a new key only for the objects that will be backed up afterwards!!! The objects stored on the server are encrypted with the old password and can only be restored with that key!!!
