How do you go about unloading and loading your db. Is this ever really necessary.
Shouldn't TSM manage that sort of "thing" on it's own?

Subject: AW: Performance drop after upgrade to TSM 4.2.1.8

Hi,

maybe we've got the same problem (slow performance) but on a different
platform.
We upgraded from TSM 3.7.2.0 to 4.1.1.0 and our database cache hit rate
dropped to
about 95%.
We then upgraded to TSM 4.1.5.0, changed some settings in DSMSERV.OPT - to
no
avail.
Over this weekend we defragmented (UNLOADDB/LOADDB) our database and this
seemed
to solve our problem - I can tell you more tomorrow!

We are running on an H50 with AIX 4.3.3.0.

Kind regards
Thomas Rupp
