I have asked this question with TSM support before. Responce: NO
There are only two ways of chaning the retention period of a backup. Redo the backup. - or - Change the retention parameters within the manaement class used to do the backup. However, this will change the retention of any backups currently bound to that management class. -----Original Message----- From: Vazquez Vegas, Sergio [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, February 01, 2002 4:12 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: URGENT: Rebinding Hi people! I've done a very large backup from a node with a determined Management Class. Is there any way to rebind all the files in that backup to another one? I mean, can I change the retention of that backup without doing the backup again?
