Jon, Yes, you can have many primary storage pools backing up to a single copy pool, and it's usually a good idea to do that. It reduces the number of tapes you will take offsite each day.

The 'TAPEPOOL' uses collocation. Recently a growing number of executives have "asked" to have their desktops installed as TSM clients. My problem is that right now each of these desktops will "hog" an entire volume because of the collocation.
