Mark,
are you using the clients ip address as its nodename?
Now when you change your TSM servers ip address this does not affect the
clients, except your TSM servers client...
To fix this problem you could
- use more symbolic nodenames that do not change when ip addresses change
- rename your TSM servers nodename
rename node <oldname> <newname>

Hi all, we have changed our IP for the AIX/TSM server. We back up 38
Novell/Unix nodes and all of them are fine. We also back up the AIX/TSM
server as well. It is not working. I have changed the IP in the dsm.sys file
to the new IP address. Below is the error message we receive from TSM.
