Yes, I have. The include/excludes are controlled from this end via CLIENTOPT. They don't have any specified on the client end.
I'm thinking it is a UNICODE and/or bad file. Perhaps a fix, issue ? I am hoping Tivoli chimes in ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zoltan Forray Virginia Commonwealth University - University Computing Center e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - voice: 804-828-4807 "Qualls, Ted W {PBSG}" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent by: "ADSM: Dist Stor Manager" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 03/19/2002 01:56 PM Please respond to "ADSM: Dist Stor Manager" To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc: Subject: Re: W2K backup error message Have you looked through the include/exclude statements for errors? -----Original Message----- From: Zoltan Forray/AC/VCU [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, March 19, 2002 11:31 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: W2K backup error message I don't recall ever seeing/getting a response to this issue. I am receiving the following error messages from a W2K server backup.... 03/18/2002 19:17:42 ANE4042E (Session: 1014, Node: ACADNT5) Object name '\\' contains one or more unrecognized characters and is not valid. They are running the 4.2.1.0 client. I told them to upgrade to 4.2.1.20 (or should I go higher ???) client, but want to be sure this will address the issue ! Is this a UNICODE issue ? Our server is OS390 4.1.4. I was about to install the 4.1.5 patches and say they are up to 4.1.8, so I am going there, instead. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------ Zoltan Forray Virginia Commonwealth University - University Computing Center e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - voice: 804-828-4807
