Moving a user's home directory

I want to migrate one user' home on node 1 to node 6 on our RS6000/SP.
ADSM/HSM is on each node .
How the migrated files of user on node 1 become ?
Must they be all recalled before the movement on node 6 ?
Somebody have idea ?
