Steve, Check permissions above /var/tmp. Make sure that acsss can write to /var and /var/tmp. ACSLS coming down is expected if you can't write the errant volume data. acserrv will attempt to restart 10 time before giving up and bring down ACSLS. If you are still having problems, let me know. Terry
