Not familiar with that library. Is it new? Have you used the search=bulk option to checkin tapes and it works there? Does it have a bulk I/O?
Maybe someone more familiar with that library could help. David Longo >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 04/11/02 12:27AM >>> Dave, I tried your fix and it does not work. The library we are using is the Compaq ESL9198 The error message that comes up is a Description=Changer failure. The command used this time was: label libv fhlibr search=bulk labelsource=barcode checkin=scr overwrite=yes Any suggestions? -----Original Message----- From: David Longo [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, April 10, 2002 9:12 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Importing Issue You didn't mention what library you have, but here is what I see. In your command replace "tapename" with labelsource=barcode. Ypu are most likely failing because you say search=bulk and also specify a tapename. David Longo >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 04/10/02 07:57PM >>> I would like to import more then one piece of media at a time to turn it into scratch media but keep receiving error messages. So far only one tape can be imported at a time for this procedure. I have tried the command: label libv libname search=bulk tapename checkin=scr overwrite=yes Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
