(etc.) for WinNT 5.1 client on Win2k. It turns out that my "tsm_images" installation directory now has two "baclient" subdirectories ... one with an older client (probably 4.2.1.??) and the other with files new this month. My installed baclient directory appears to have mostly new files, but DSCAMENG.txt is back-leveled. Reboots, uninstalls and reinstalls do not help. There is no DSM_DIR env. variable set.
Bypass: manually copy the newer DSCAMENG.txt file to the production baclient directory. I didn't try it, but suppose that manually discarding the "tsm_images" directory between uninstall and reinstall probably would have worked. cheers, wayne Wayne T.
