No, you cannot create a log file with the GUI. What you can do instead is use the command line version of the client and redirect the output to a file:
dsmc incremental > /my.tsm.backup.output.file ************************************************************************ Wanda Prather The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab 443-778-8769 [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Intelligence has much less practical application than you'd think" - Scott Adams/Dilbert ************************************************************************ -----Original Message----- From: Diciommo Fabio EDS [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, May 24, 2002 2:41 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: trace a log on NT/2000 manuals backup Hi all, Is there one way to trace in a log, backups with a GUI client on windows NT/2000 like dsmsched.log for scheduler. many thanks Fabio
