Yes, if for some reason cannot restore via the SAN the default path will be across the LAN.

Hi Guys, A quick question: Is it possible to restore data through a LAN that has been backed up through a SAN. So if I make a backup with my storage agent directly to tape and later I turn off this storage agent can I restore that data? Does TSM make a difference between that data? I ask this because the tapes ownership goes to the client. > met vriendelijke groeten, regards et salutations, > Finn Leijnse > ITDSES/31 - Central Data Storage Management > Shell Services International bv. > >
