Hello, colleagues,

I've spotted that some of you tried bare metal restore of windows machines
and succeeded. Could you share some how-to or important point not to miss?
I installed win2000 to a small partition of a new drive (D:) and then made
a systemobject restore and \\machine\c$ restore to drive C: I should say
that incr C: and backup systemobject succeeded just before disk
replacement.

I wonder how to make windows boot from C: instead of D:. fixboot C: and
fixmbr from recovery console didn't help much.

Your suggestion is very much appreciated.

Regards,
Anton Gubarkov.
