Wolf-Christian, You said you spoke to IBM. Was that IBM support? Did you have a PMR? You can change the buffers to 8 and the buffersize to 8192, but most of the testing that we have seen is that buffers at 3 and buffersize of 1024 provides the best results. "Unknown Exchange API error" needs to be looked at more closely. The service team needs to examine the specific HRESULT code returned with that error. The only way to capture this information is with a trace. Please open a new PMR (or reopen the old one) if you continue to see this error.
