Hi Lindy, I have just upgraded a 4.1.x server to 5.1.1.1, without problems. If you check the readme, that comes on the v. 5.1 CD, it says howto do the upgrade from 4.2 to 5.1. It also tells you about known issues for upgrading a server. I'm sorry I don't have the answer here, but it would be easier to look at the file.
