I still use the 3.1 GUI and CLI. Only use Web Admin when I have to. A few
things don't work with a 4.2 server also - I am unable to delete some
filespaces with the GUI where the webadmin works. Sometimes I can't update
the percentage reclaim value on a storage pool with the GUI.

Hi Wanda!
I also prefer the old 3.1 Admin GUI. You will only get stuck while
connecting to a 5.1 server. If you click on the Storage Pools icon the GUI
will hang...
I haven't much hope for a Share requirement. A requirement for a better
Admin interface was submitted through the TSM 2001 Symposium in Oxford in
September 2001, that didn't help either...

I STILL run the old 3.1 GUI.
The bigger your TSM gets (We are at 550 clients on the largest server),
the more impossible it becomes to use the web admin
because of the lack of filtering and sorting capability.
