Me too. The 3590 technology is pretty much the Cadillac of sequential storage. What is prompting your move? > If you want reliability, don't convert to LTO. If you're counting the number of mounts, keep in mind that an LTO tape can hold 3 times (or more) the data of a 3590 tape.
