Hi Sascha Br�uning Yes we are doing it in a few places, and I don't recommend using your LAN for it. I one place we insert another LAN adapter in the client and the TSM server and made a dedicated LAN just for those huge clients - This is the cheap way out of the situation. if you are dealing with one huge file, that is 300 gig of data that is a database or something like that I strongly recommend you to consider SAN, that is the professional way.
