Hello, something about using journaled backup. SYMPTOM:
We have activated the journaled backup on 3 big fileservers. (2x NT4.0SP6, 1xW2k) The w2k works great. The NT-Boxes use the journaled backup only partially, not on all filesystem, especially the important ones are fully scanned. The backups lasting 15-17 hours, but nearly all data are send during the 1st hour. The partitions are all configured for journaled backup. All files and directorys are scanned. QUESTION: What is wrong ? Is there something diffrent between NT 4.0 and W2k on configuring journaled backup ? I used the setup wizzard, with the default settings. In my opinion i did nothing wrong, and it has to work, but that doesn't mind.
