With reference to my recent posting regarding problems restoring from a Netware 4.11 system backed up with ADSM 3.1.0.8, to a Netware 6 sytem using TSM 5.1.0.0.
To recap, my problem was that only root/base directories would be processed, even though -subdir=yes was specified. Well, with help from L2 Support, we put a Service trace on and discovered that the TSM Server was over-riding the -subdir=y to -subdir=no. The root cause was a CLIENTOPTIONSSET being defined and also defined in the target NODENAME - which had SUBDIR=NO specified !! We do not use CLOPSET in production, it just happened a colleague was trialing it on the node which would later be used for the Netware 6 Restore. So we are happily back in business, restoring away !!
