I guess the term Temporary Backup was misleading. I need to have this one set of data be kept short term, compared to what we do for most backups. This is data that needs to be backed up until it gets spun off to DVD for archival purposes. The DVDs get sent off once a week, so if we keep the data for 10 days, the management has considered that sufficient.
Thanks for the thought. -----Original Message----- From: Greg Garrison [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, July 18, 2002 4:38 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Temporary Backup Hey Jack- Just a thought. Then I need to backup this ONE file system with a different retention than everything else. (like 10 days, where everything else is kept for 60 after it is deleted). How should I set this up? ... TIA ... Jack
