I was wondering about an option in the IBMtape.conf file called 'sili'
(Supress Incorrect Lenghth Indication)

In the README for the IBMtape device driver for Solaris it mentions that
the
sili option can be set to increase throughput for variable blocksize read
operations....

The default IBMtape.conf file has sili=0 for the Solaris driver...

Should this be set to 0 or 1 for TSM and 3494 drives on Solaris 8?

Thanks
