Hi Bruce I've run into this a couple of times, usually because (1) the installation of the service was incorrect, or (2) because password registry key is missing. If (1) - You could try to remove the Scheduler Service which is failing, and reinstall it (dsmcutil remove /dsmcutil install sched...).
If (2), start the GUI, using the options-file for the clusterdisk resource client, and do an operation - it will ask for password, and when it is entered, it will be updated in registry.
