We are looking into implementing CONTROL- M as our main Scheduler, for both our Mainframe's (already running) and our Distributed Server's ranging from NT4.0/AIX-UNIX/SUN SOLARIS/ various levels of OS). We are currently using AIX-UNIX 4.3 TSM servers for our backup/restore capabilities on the distributed side of our organization (ranging from release 4.1.5.0, and 4.2.2.4)
I have read through the ListServ Archives and have read many good as well as not so good situations as they apply to TSM and Control-M. I would like any input from any current users of both products in regards to any benefits/pitfalls we may experience as we traverse in this direction And possible recommendations as how we may proceed.
