Recently I did also a migration of an ADSM 3.1 to an TSM 5.1 at one of our customers. I did not have to migrate the database because they decided to start from scratch with this new environment (other box, other robot, other TSM). Some of the clients did not accept the TSM 5.1 client because of operating system problems so for these servers I installed the latest supported client which was an TSM 3.7 and until now no problems were encountered.
