We just had this happen a couple days ago. The server is 4.2.3.0 running on AIX4.2.2 ml10. The client was Netware and the filespace was the SYS: drive. I opened a PMR, but the admin had already manually deleted all filespaces and the node before I had a chance to respond to the PMR. Another symptom was right after this the TSM server hung. There were no more messages in the activity log until the restart. Teh server accepted connections, but you never got a prompt on the client that you were fully connected. The connection never timed out, either. We had to reboot the whole box as we couldn't get TSM to come down.
The PMR I opened is 23023 branch 004.
