TDP 2.2.1 is supported with oracle 9i .
i have it running on one of the spnode .

Oracle 9i is not supported with TDP 2.1.1. Here are the requirements for
2.1.1.0
Operating System: AIX 4.3.1 or higher
Software Requirements:
- Tivoli Storage Manager API 3.7.2 included with this package
- Oracle7 Version 7.3.4 with Enterprise Backup Utility 2.2
- Oracle8 Version 8.0.3, 8.0.4, 8.0.5, or 8.1.5
Keep in mind however, that TDP for Oracle 2.1.1.0 is no longer supported.
TDP for Oracle 2.2.1 does support Oracle 9i. It is a purchase upgrade.
