New with TSM 5.1 is this function to copy to more than one storage
pool at once. See Admin Guide for 5.1 and Storage Pools.

Hi,

I've a question about storage pool backup. We have various onsite
primary
storage pools and two offsite copy storage pools, (in case of media
failure
during DR restore). Hence the copy pools contents are the same.
Currently
our morning housekeeping backs up the primary pools to each copy pool
in
turn. My question is is it possible to backup a primary storage pool
to two
copy storage pools at the same time, i.e. read in on one tape and write
the
data out to two at the same time?

Regards

Tim
