Is it really an IBM Magstar MP 3570? You must be in a near line
environment where data access time is relatively low. I have installed
plenty of those autoloaders in the past, but it seems to be somewhat
obsolete for a NEW TSM installation. I would recommend installing the
latest version of the 3570 device driver.

Subject: device name mt124.1.2.8

Hello,
I have a point to point FC connection with a SAN GW (LTO) and a Modular
Data Router (3570) using 2 different Emulex HBA's. All devices show up
as mt124.x.x.x and lb124.x.x.x, my question, is that normal? W2k SP2,
TSM Server 5.1.5.2

Best Regards

Markus Veit
