Hi Henrry, If BRMS is a requirement I can not say, but it is definately possible to make BRMS interact with the TSM API. Actually BRMS is prepared for this from the beginning (but you have to install the TSM API). When using BRMS with TSM, BRMS will use the TSM server as a virtual tape device.
We recently installed the TSM API on one of our AS/400 and configured BRMS to backup data on our TSM server which runs on a Windows 2000 system. The setup is not yet running in our production environment, but we have made some successfull tests in our development environment.
