Have had that happen. Reason is this is a dynamic system with expirations and reclamations running. By the time you got back the tapes requested, the data on some of them was somewhere else according to the TSM DB. Run the "preview" again. I've had several out of about a dozen or so restores where I needed to make a "second pass" to get everything.
