Using volumes in Manual Mode affects their status: The 3494 redbook (SG24-4632) says that when volumes are used in Manual Mode, their LMDB indicator is set to "Manual Mode", as used to direct error recovery when the lib is returned to Auto mode. Richard Sims, BU
