I'd actually be asking Novell what >28.01.2003 17:29:29 ANS1870E NDS transport failure FFFDFEAF has occurred.< means i.e. the NDS error FFFDFEAF, that seems to be the root of evil i.e. TSM said reestablished but NDS said no way ?
Also, there are newer TSM Novell Clients that will work i.e. 5.1.5.1 with your current level TSM Server If you open a call to Tivoli support (of course you've got a support contract), they'll probably say refer to Novell (not out of passing, but NDS has an issue). Tivoli support can certainly direct you to which trace flags to apply to get more info to pass to Novell, as well (if it occurs often enough) Is this reproducible, at what times, regular, only sometimes, always ?
