Yes you can. Some of the tapes maybe offsite so you may need to call them back to do
a restore. Then you can do a preview=no

        Subject:        preview=yes during file restore

        Hi All,

        Can I do preview=yes to find out which tapes are required to restore files
        ?
        if so what would be the syntax ?

        Help doesn't show any thing on preview ..
        Syntax

        >>-REStore---+--------+---+-----------+---+- sourcefilespec---+->
                     '- FILE--'   '- options--'   '- "sourcefilespec"-'

        >-----+----------------------+---------------------------------><
              '- destinationfilespec-'

        Thank You
        SD
