Hi *SM-ers! I just checked my reclamation. A tape was being reclaimed and it took TSM 3:41:14 to do the job. The total amount of data being reclaimed was 104,711,564,841 bytes. That's about 7.8 Mb./sec. I don't know if this is a speed one might expect, but to me it looks a little bit slow. I'm using a TSM 4.2.3.2 server on AIX, the drives are SCSI attached, two drives per cable/connector. Does anybody have some tricks to boost this performance? Or maybe, this is normal performance?
