This does not answer why you are getting the results that you are however,
you could try doing a delete vol 499068 discarddata=yes. But only if you
are sure that the volume has no valid data on it.

I would also check back in the activity log to see other references to this
tape and what happened with it recently. However the date last read on the
tape is well over a week old ????

Hello everyone!

I have something bizarre happening with some of my 3590 tapes. TSM is on
OS/390 2.10 and it is at level 4.1.5. I am running reclamation and I am
receiving the following messages. This is for an onsite tapepool.

with completion state SUCCESS at 14:14:10.
ANR9999D AFMIGR(2911): Error deleting volume 499068, 0 bytes moved by
reclamation.
ANR1041I Space reclamation ended for volume 499068.

I queried the contents of the tape and there is nothing on it. I have also tried to audit the tape, but it says the following:

ANR2420E AUDIT VOLUME: Space reclamation operation already in progress for
volume 499068.

Any suggestions on what may be done? Thank you!
