Tim I had a problem similar to yours (I think!) in my test environment. After I applied Win 2000 sp 4 to my TSM server I could no longer access the web admin gui on port 1580 from any machine. Is this the problem you are experiencing? If your issue is with Java have a look at the other helpful postings on web page. If you have the same problem as I did then just do netstat -a to see if TSM is listening on port 1580. In my case it turned out the a registry key
hkey_local_machine\software\ibm\adsm\currentversion\server\server\options somehow got updated. It pointed to C:\Program Files\tivoli\tsm\server instead of server1. I have no idea how this happened (life is not always simple ;-) but when I pointed it to server1 again then things went back to working normally.
