you might need to Download PATCH 5.1.7.1 for the tape autoloader. since there was Inquiry change in the latest Firmware
TSM will stop working with 3607-16X .

Are you sure it is recognized/supported in v5.1.5???
I remember it being announced this year while v5.1.5 came last October.
Visit IBM support site (I have no time to do it for you now) and look
since which version 3607-16X is supported.
Or download v5.1.7 and try it directly!!

I can't manage tape in Tape Autoloader 3607-16X with TSM 5.1.5. It make me
crazy. Can anyone help me ???
TSM 5.1.5 Device Driver can't recognise all the device in Tape Autoloader
3607-16x. So that I use Windows native drivers but when I mount tape by
RSM and backup by TSM client, the process fails and show the message
"Server media mount not possible"
