A good temporary workaround for those intermittent stops is to have Win2K restart the service automatically.
Open control panel -> admin tools -> SERVICES Right click on the TSM scheduler service, select PROPERTIES, then RECOVERY. Set first and second failure to RESTART THE SERVICE.
