Hi there, I found the answer to my problem ... from the latest patch README ....
The Media Labeling wizard of the TSM Management Console for Windows does not support the labeling of tapes in non-IBM LTO devices. The TSM LABEL LIBVOLUME command should be used to label tapes in such devices. /hector -----Original Message----- From: Hector Chan [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: August 11, 2003 5:35 PM To: ADSM-L Subject: write error to DLT tapes TSM 5.2 on W2K Tape library ATL PowerStor L500 with a single DLT8000 drive I can label the tapes and checkin the tapes no problem q libvol shows all the checked in volumes BUT!?
