Hi! You can not kill the Open File Module with a software. The only way to kill a OFM software is to reboot. That is becuse the OFM software is so deep in the software so if you should killit then should you got a blue screen. But about your problem. I have see the same problem before but with another Open File software and with another software. But there was no problem with the software. The problem was with a unique file. So if you can look in the Client log and see if the backup hangs on a specify file everytime. If it hangs on the same file all the time. Please remove that file and the backup should work fine now.
