For a week ago you got a blue screen when you restore your backup to a new hardware.

But this helps you only if you go from Compaq -> Compaq or Dell -> Dell.
If you got from Dell -> HP then is it not going to help you.
 
But I got some good news.
We have maybe found a way to go from one manufactory to another manufactory. So to the 
TSM Seminarium in Oxford do we maybe a solution for your problem.
