I chose option 2. After a long and interesting discussion, I may now understand the complexities of how TSM works in this area - or I may not. It appears to be so complex that even the guys who wrote the manuals may not understand it fully ;-) For those interested, I've so far had APARs IC37149, IC37150, IC37210 and IC37448 opened, and there could be more on the way.
