I did not swremove anything in my last upgrade from 4.2.3.2 to 5.1.6.0, 5.1.6.5, and now 5.1.7.2. I just double checked my upgrade word document to verify this.
I am working with support on a HIGH CPU (80%-90% per drive) issue (Since 5.1.6.5) using the TSM Tape Device Driver, so If I were you I would test that a bunch (and test it again). I have regressed to the HP stape device driver to eliminate the pain of the high CPU usage. I only use the TSM Tape Device Driver to get at the converted data.
