Hi TSM-ers, thanks a lot for all the suggestions. I will now do a regular (once a month) "full" backup of the profiles directories. If this doesn't give us good restore times I will backup once a week. If this doesn't help I will create a separate filespace for the profiles. Backup to a separate disk storage pool is no option (this might change in the future) as our NSM has no more disk space left.
