As far a I know - if the number of Moint Points for the client is 1 (or less than definied session for TDP), or if only one drive is available at backup-time, those sessions will then go to one take. One session after the other. So the backup would complete. I'm not sure if they would all go to the same tape. I would assume that each session starts a different tape.
But you don't gain anything here. It would be better to use only one session in that scenario. It would also be better for the restores, as one session goes to one tape and doesn't need different tape mounts during the restore.
